A story that is able to stay alive through the ages,
Is one that becomes imprinted on our hearts.
To help guide us through the dark moments,
To believe, for even a moment that we could play the part.
So our story begins like all the great fables, it was “Once upon a time…”
There lived a farm boy and a young girl, opposite classes of their kind
She would order him around, from dusk to dawn, to polish every dish.
But his only reply, he ever said to her, was “as you wish”.
Though after years of growing up together, something special that compared to none,
was a love for the ages where their souls intertwined as one.
One early morning, he set sail to make a future with his one true love,
But pirates destroyed his ship, and killed the girls’ ability to love.
Five numb years go by, and the ruler of the land proclaims the girl to be his,
And is to wed on the kingdoms’ anniversary, to marry this evil prince.
The daily ride of her horse, was the only joy in her day, until a band of misfits kidnap her, to start a war, an evil plot the young prince made.
But the dread pirate Roberts comes and defeats the misfits, each at their own craft, yet spares their lives, though against the reputation where no man has survived his wrath. He then takes the princess to the hills, where she learns his name as painful memories come rushing back. She shouts and threatens him for taking the love that she can never get back. But he mocks her pain and call her tale lies and asks her a question of her beau. how long she waited for her “true love” before becoming engaged to another man as so.
"I died that day!", she shouted at him, a tear escapes her eye, with his back turn she pushes the bandit right off the cliff side.
"I hope you die!" she shouts as she watches the man descend, " as you wish" was all to his reply, that moment, she knew her Wesley wasn’t dead.
Her one true love! Falling to his doom and thus thrust herself down as well, she would not let him leave her side ever again, the twist in this fable tale.
